No, As indicated by the ozone analyzer in the video, the level of ozone gas off-gassing from the oil is relatively low at first, but rises to a much higher level than would be safe. There is no reliable method of determining when this ozone level will suddenly rise to an unsafe level. Therefor, this would be unsfe.

0.5 LPM of flow is fine, provided the ozone concentration is at least 5% by weight. The ozone output, mg/hr is not the important number in this application. Might need a bit more context here. Fossil oil? What is that? What would the goal of ozonation be in this case?

I am not sure how a nebulizer produces ozone, I would need more context on that to help. Ozonated olive oil refers to a complete process that create a thick paste. This may be the same as oxidized oil, however it is also true that oxidized oil may not be fully ozonated.

However, there are unsafe levels of ozone, and ozone safety parameters that should be adhered to.

The color is due to the gasses inside the glass tube itself. This is a very old ozone generator design. This specific unit was manufactured by VitoZone back in the 1950's. The tubes were filled with gas and charged only on one end similar to a neon tube/light.

Yes, cleaning the impurities, mostly nitric acid/nitric oxide by-products from the cell will return operation to it's former glory.

@@basspig I'm no expert but I'd try using a base like ammonia, detergent, or baking soda. Also be careful, Ozone is really not good for anyone to breath.

We do not believe so. Due to the increasing of the oil viscosity, we believe the venturi would loose efficiency throughout the process. However, we have not researched this much as we find the solubility of ozone gas into the liquid to be very good using a bubble diffuser. This video illustrates this quite well. Note how low the off-gassed ozone remains throughout the initial 75% of the process. This indicates that 100% or near 100% of the ozone was consumed by the oil. Therefore, our efficiency of already quite good using the method shown here.

Any good quality virgin olive oil will work great.

This depends upon the space you are attempting to achieve 1,000 ppm ozone. 1 g/m3 = 467 ppm Ozone. Therefore you need 2.14 grams of ozone per cubic meter. If you space is 10 m3, 21.4 grams of ozone is required in that space. Now, determine ozone decomposition rate in your space and you can calculate the required g/hr ozone.
